Peanut Girl
Well, thought I would give a little update! Things are going really well. Kate has slept through the night for four nights in a row! I super love her! I know this good fortune probably will not last, but it has been great during the recovery period. She sleeps and eats and hiccups and stretches and we think everything she does is the cutest thing. We just stare at her all day long! All the pain and suffering of pregnancy and labor and delivery are so worth it! Here are some more pictures of our little peanut.

She's here!
This is Ani's sister, Danielle. Kate arrived, at 12:09 am, finally. She was 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches and is absolutely adorable!! (no c-section was needed!) Ani was AMAZING and endured a long, painful labor, but is doing great. I'm sure she will post lots of pictures and give all the details when she gets home in a few days. We love you baby Kate!

Update #3
Ani isn't making much progress, she's still a two. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers because the doctor is discussing the possibility of a c-section if she doesn't progress in the next hour or so. I'll update again when I have more information.

Update #2
Just got word that Ani is feeling REAL good right now because they FINALLY gave her the epidural. She has been in a lot of pain but they wouldn't give it to her because she was only a 2. She's resting now to be ready for what is to come. Now that the good news is out of the way...The doc now feels that we shouldn't be expecting Kate till about midnight. That's not really bad news, just not something you want to tell a soon to be new mom that is so sick of being pregnant. Ani is in good hands with Matt, her mom and her older sister who has had four kids and is an old pro when it comes to birthing babies.

TODAYS THE DAY THE TAYLORS GET TO MEET KATE!!
This is Ani's brother in law posting for her because she is at the hospital right now getting ready to meet Kate for the first time! Ani called this morning at 4:25 saying that her water broke at 4am and they are on their way to the hospital. The doctor is anticipating that the delivery will be around 6pm and he's usually pretty right on. Keep Matt, Ani and Kate in your thoughts and prayers. GO TAYLORS!!!!!!

I am Psychic.

It is true. I am. I have known it for a long time. I know what people are going to say, and sometimes I can predict the future. Sometimes I see the future. The past three days I have had concrete evidence of my abilities.
Day 1: Had a dream about my friend Char who lives in China. Haven't seen her for over a year. Never dreamed about her.
I wake up the next morning and hear about the awful earthquake in China. Strange.....
Day 2: Have a dream about my cousin and his wife in Colorado. Haven't seen them since November, and never had a dream about them!
I wake up and have an email from Debbie in my inbox! Strange.....
Day 3: This was the one that convinced Matt of my abilities. We went to Costco to stalk up on the essentials. I am definitely not one of those people who keep tract of how much is going into the cart. I see mangos, mangos look good, I throw mangos in the cart. I for SURE do not keep a running total of how much it will be. So, we finish up, Matt unloads the loot, and I go over to get us dinner while he takes care of paying, etc. He comes over and he arrogantly asks, "So (if you think you are psychic) how much do you think we spent?!" And I thought about it for a minute and I said...."135.00". He looked a little shocked. Why should he be shocked?! I am psycic. I KNEW I was right. So, then thinking that he could get me with this one, asks, "And how many cents?" To that I said, ".62". WHAT?!!??!?!?! How amazing am I?!
So, I am 2 cent off. Big fat deal. I am thinking about charging for my services.
Other things I can think of off the top of my head....
*The day that President Hinckley died, I totally woke up and thought about him and that he was probably going to die soon, and it would be strange if it was today.
*While getting ready for church I told Matt we were going to be asked to talk at church. HAHAHAH he totally got asked to speak about 1 hour later. (Not me though :))
****I had a dream last night about going into labor...yikes.
I'll update as I have more Psychic experiences....

Afternoon thoughts...
1. I am excited to see the bones in my feet again soon.
2. It will be great to sneeze/cough and not have to change my outfit after.
While in Palm Springs, I was looking for my mom and Matt on the golf course and I sneezed and yeeeeeah. I was wearing pink sweat shorts. So, I just had to go find a deserted place and wait to be found. Then I had to tell them what happened and sit in the sun waiting to dry out. Not my best moment.
3. I am excited for Matt that one day soon I will not snore at night.
4. I might start abiding by traffic rules once I don't have a watermelon inside me. I am such a lower rider right now, it hurts to turn to check before a lane change (or even when backing out of a parking spot, I just hope that no one is there), and it is way too much effort and pressure on the bladder to make complete stops.
5. Antacids will no longer be my best friend. I carry a huge Costco bottle in my purse and keep one on the night stand. At night I pour a huge pile out on the nightstand, and everytime I wake up I just grab for a couple (or 5). Or, if I am out and about, I don't even bother using my hands, they go straight from the bottle to my mouth. I HATE ANTACIDS. They taste like old Smarties.
6. I might prefer the smell of my deordant more than the smell of sweat soon. I can't stand any scent of deodorant, except Matt's. (Which I have used, but am worried I'll hate that too, so I stopped using his)
7. It will be nice to be able to pick things off the ground when I drop them.
8. I will miss eating treats whenever I have the urge.
9. I will miss having an excuse for everything. Not showering, wearing sweats, no making dinner, eating 2 bowls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, dirty dishes in the sink, going to bed early ;), etc.
10. I can't wait to burn like 10 outfits that I have been forced to wear this past month. It almost makes me sick to look at them. I have to wait a little longer to burn them though, or I will have NOTHING that fits.
This tank top will be the first to go:
11. I have the urge to do a cartwheel. I might wait a few weeks for that one.
12. It will be nice to be able to put lotion on my legs again, shave effectively, and paint my toes (getting pedicures is nice though).
13. I will not miss the 40 pounds I WILL lose.
14. I will miss feeling my little baby dance around in my tummy.
15. I will NOT miss her kicking my ribs all day.
16. It will be nice to walk up all 3 flights of stairs to our apt. with out taking a break.
17. I will miss random people being really friendly and smiling at me.
18. I am excited to finally put all of the baby things we have to use!
19. I will be thrilled to finally meet this little addition to our family.
20. Being pregnant was not fun for me, and I can't wait for it to end, but I am scared to be a mom! But really EXCITED too!
I thought I would be one of those girls who really loved being pregnant. Nope. I think I liked it for like 1 week before I started feeling sick, and then maybe for a month when I felt good and the belly was a cute size. It has been a really painful thing for me! I have felt like a different person the whole time. I can't wait to be normal again! We are so ready to meet our little girl. Matt put her car seat in the car the other night, and I keep looking in the mirror while driving and thinking about how she will soon be my constant companion! I am so excited to finally get to hold her in my arms and not with my belly!
(Phew. I have been meaning to write in my journal, but I have to bend down to get it. Now I can make it off my To Do List. Next up, iron the shower curtain, yup, still nesting.)

Lifesaver Update #3

Dr. said that everything was about the same, a little more dilated and a little more effaced, and he was impressed with how low she was! He kept saying everything was very favorable! He think she is about 7 pounds right now. I'll take that. He thinks I will be on the early side of my due date rather than the late. (May 27th). So, in summary, he said he would be surprised if it was before the 20th or after the 27th. Today she has been moving around SOOO much. I think she is trying to find the exit! Maybe she is as excited as we are!

Just what the doctor ordered
Our last minute trip to Palm Springs was perfect. Little brother Dave is leaving on his mission soon, and my parents wanted to get away with him for a weekend, and we decided to go too.
The weather was perfect, sunny, clear and 90 degrees!
The weekend started off a little rough- trying on bathing suits at 9 months and 2 weeks pregnant. But what did I expect?
After I got over how I looked, it was great! We swam, laid out, played miniature golf, eat tons, and slept.
This is my "happy place".Hello huge. I got a lot of looks, sympathetic smiles and tons of comments.
Waiting for his turn to golf
Mama B and Mattie pants.
Little had when there is a watermelon in the way...
Dad, Dave, and Mom.
Me and the cute hubby
Such a relaxing weekend! I am sure it will be the last for a little while!

We are ready!
Welp, I think we are ready for D-day! Physically that is. Mentally, I don't think I will ever be ready. We have tons of clothes, diapers, all the gadgets and Matt put together the car seat and stroller. Here is her little outfit to come home in! I can't wait to put her in it! I can't believe we finally get to meet her! I am so excited, and nervous!

Happy Birthday to Matt!
Mattie turns 28 today! He is such a cute guy. I just can't get enough! He is so funny with out even realizing it. I don't know what I would do without him!
A few years back at Halloween. Uncle Rico.
Here are 28 things you may or may not know about him:
1. He is Irish. (Dad was born there)
Matt and his Irish Gparents.
2. He has lots of moles
3. He loves to cook
4. He graduated from BYU-H
Matts car in HI.
5. He loves to wear sweat bands
6. He is the best dancer I know. He was in the hip-hop/break dancing club at BYU-H (haha!)
7. He has amazing morning hair.
8. He makes realllly yummy shrimp tacos
9. He worked for a morgue for one day, he picked up one dead person
10. In college he was a pizza delivery boy
11. He got called to Argentina on his mission, but after the MTC and 4 months in Texas, they sent him to Chile because he couldn't get a visa.
Passport Picture!
12. He always watches Sports Center before bed
13. He flosses almost every day!
14. I think he is always dehydrated. He only drinks at lunch and dinner. (i am working on it)
15. He gets sayings or common phrases mixed up all the time. Example: He told me he emailed his boss to give him notice about taking an "absences of leave" when the baby comes. To that I responded, "You mean "leave of absences" Matt?" Then he said, "Shoot"
16. He called his binky his "nummy" when he was little.
17. He is really good at hand stands
18. He gives me a massage every night- I know, he is amazing.

21. He use to work with children with Autism and was really great at it.
22. He is sooo excited to be a dad. He helps me organize the babies stuff and loves to look at all her clothes.
23. When I told him I was pregnant he didn't believe me, even when I showed him the test. Good thing the box came with 2 tests!
24. He always does the dishes after dinner
25. He didn't kiss a girl till he was 21.
26. He hates to read.
27. He is the best husband to me.
28. He will be the best dad to our little girl.
Matt and little Carter last month. He looks good holding a baby!
Just had to throw these in here....
Mattie and Ryan, obviously in the 80's!
Happy Birthday Mattie! I hope you had a good day! I love you!
