Baby Carter!

Yesterday was Danielle's shower! It was so fun! It was just the ladies in the family. We are all so excited for little Carter James to arrive in April!

Today, while waiting in line in the bathroom at Cedar Creek Inn, (for Danielle's baby shower, will post about later) these four ladies came in and started a whole conversation about my feet! They were older, so I will let them use that for their excuse. Lady #1 looked at my feet and complimented my shoes (yes, my favorites) and then lady #2 said, "yeah, I heard those gold shoes are in style". They are totally silver. Then then lady #3 said, "Isn't it a little early to have your toes painted?" What?! I don't know about you, but I always have painted toes. It was so strange. As for lady #4, I think I heard her mumble, "I think they are silver." I love old people.
In other news...still about feet...
About 20 minutes later I was standing in my parents front yard watching Matt mow the lawn. He was pointing to something in front of the mower and yelling "can you pick it up" so I reach down to pick up the item, and the next thing I know the mower is over my foot! I could totally feel the heat and wind of the blades. SCARY. I was totally shocked. Apparently he didn't know if he pushed some bar down, that it would lunge forward. Riight. Hope the coach is comfy tonight Matt! JK. Good thing he is cute.

Dr. said 1 pound a day, not week. Right?!

Super Saturday

Saturday night I was pretty tired from our busy day! We were up late the night before trying to finish season 1 of Lost, I feel asleep the last 20 minutes! Can you believe that? So Matt had a church Basketball game Saturday morning, and I stayed behind and finished Lost!
For Christmas my mom asked for a "day" with each of us. So Saturday was her day with us! And we let my Dad piggy back. We had a picnic and played Frisbee at the beach. It was beautiful!
Saturday night we wrapped up my mom's day and went to the BYU Men's Volleyball game at UCI! It was really fun to get to watch Matt's cousin, Kent, play for a bit! His little fan club was really funny as well! I guess he is a pretty big deal. It was great to see his Aunt and Uncle too, they are so fun.

Everyday should be Valentines!

Thursday morning I surprised Mattie with a big breakfast, candlelight included! (I burned my hand really bad though, and tried to play it off so he could enjoy the breakfast!) Since holidays are all about food, I had planned a picnic for lunch, but the day was kinda nasty and cold, so instead we had a little picnic on the living room floor next to the fire! OooLala!
The best was when Mattie came home a little early and made dinner for me! It was amazing! He gave me a beautiful orchid too! This blog is G rated, so the day ended there!
The day was perfect!

My Valentine

The first thing he does after the shower is to put his pants and shoes on.
He loves those chicken dinosaur nuggets from Costco.
He takes forever getting reading for bed.
He always initiates prayer at night and always holds my hand.
When he comes home from work- he always has a smile on his face.
He is obsessed with my shampoo and he secretly uses it sometimes so he can smell like me.
He puts lemon on everything...even broccoli.
He drives "Silver Shoes" and lets me drive the new car.
He flosses everyday. Who does that?!
He give me a massage almost every day!
He dances better than anyone I know.
Sings really loud to Josh Groban.
He likes to cuddle ALL NIGHT!
He has huge lips, and I love them.
I like to bite his face, and he totally lets me do it.
I am obsessed with his dimple, and pray everynight that our baby gets it.
Matt unloads the dishwasher for me almost everytime because he knows I hate doing it.
He is going to be the best dad ever. He is so excited and likes to rub my belly.
He called me skinny on Sunday. He is my best friend!
Last weekend he told me that being married was the best thing in the whole world.

I think being married to him is the best thing in the world too! I love him so much!

I am so thankful that I married into such a great family. The Taylors are so fun to be with! I love that Nigel likes to cook his own meals, and always makes shrimp cocktails for holidays. I love that Pam is always happy, makes yummy dinners, and always sends us cute packages! I love that they raised the most amazing son ever, Matt is such a good husband! I love that Jamie is always up for fun, and loves the same girlie stuff that I do! I love that Ryan is such a ladies man! I love that Joel eats everything with his hands, loves my Bewsey style French toast, and shares the same love of eggs and toast that I do. I love that Michele loves animals, and enjoys trashy celebrity magazines just like me. They are the best! Love you guys!
