Nana's Bday

We went up to the Apple Farm last weekend for my Nana's 80th birthday and mini family reunion. We had so much fun! The Apple Farm has a bed and breakfast feel to it. The rooms are all decorated differently, they have big canopy beds, fireplaces, and the best is that they serve hot chocolate, cider and cookies all day long! We had such a good time! On Saturday we went to Morro Bay and played on the beach. The boys found this HUGE piece of dried seaweed that entertained us for a long time. The girls used it as a jump rope, and the boys were using it like a whip, but it was SOOO long that they all ended up whipping themselves, my Dad getting it the worse- It wrapped all the way around his leg and made him bleed and left a huge bruise. It also slapped my cousin across the face! So funny. On Saturday night we had a yummy dinner and were able to honor my grandma by all telling her how much we love her and sharing memories. It was a really great weekend!

(Sorry this one is sideways!)

(This one too!)

Love him!

Wow, I was there and I still loved all your pictures! I love the one of you and Matt at the end. You guys are cute! That piece of seaweed was the best. Dang- we should've brought it home, cleaned it and then brought it out at other family get-togethers. That was too funny!
