110

We are packing up our humble abode this coming week.
I took some pictures so we would always remember our first purchase.
When we first saw it, it was 2 inches deep in water, and had mold hanging off every wall.
We saw the potential though!
We watched it go from that nasty place, stripped down to the studs, and then built back again.
It has been quite the year for 110.
It has been a good little home to us, but with our growing family, it is time to say goodbye.
We always knew it would be a short stay, so we tried to not get attached.
The extra square footage we will be gaining is making the goodbye a little easier though!

We are very happy that our buyers are members of our church, and will be in our ward...so I am sure we be able to see it again. (Probably the the day after we move out, while Matt is helping them move in! Ha! Love the Church!)

Disneyland 2010 (Aka: Photo Overload)

We got passes last November to Disneyland. Kate had I have gone at least once a month, all year! It is so fun to go for a few hours, and not feel stressed to get your moneys worth. Our passes expired this passed weekend, so we went for one last trip until we renew.

What we have been up to:

Saturday Night date with the Munch to the Pier.

Checking out the new Disney Store. Kate requested this "photo".
Enjoying a HOT mid-November day at the pool.

A few Disneyland trips with friends
A lot of talk about baby. She stuffs her shirt and says, "Look Mom! I am having a baby!"
I threw a shower for my best friend Bree. We are having our babies 3 days apart!
Friends from high school: Shannon, me, Bree, and Heather.

These are my two best friends, and both happen to be pregnant too. Love this time of life!
We are enjoying the fall outdoors as much as possible.

Halloween parade at the library after story time.
Kate's light up wings were a huge hit.

Maybe my favorite picture...Getting ready for Halloween! You would think I was really hurting her. Pain is beauty, Kate.
A rare mid-week breakfast with our favorite boy. Donuts, and Starbucks hot chocolate!

"It's getting big."

Matt says this almost every night when I am getting ready for bed.
And he is right. It looks big. It feels big. She is big!
Random people are starting to ask me everyday now, "When are you due?!" And act a little sorry for me when I say "January 1st!"
Kate and I went to my appointment this morning, and she was so excited to hear the babies fast little heart beat.
We are on the homestretch now!
33 weeks

Out of the Mouth of my Babe:

I see the church! I want to go in and sit down!

I want to give the baby a shaker!
You want to shake the baby?
No, give a shaker!
Like a baby rattle?
Yes!

We drove by a house awhile back and Kate was upset we didn't go in. We told her we needed to get keys to see the house first.
"We need Jan for keys?!" Jan is our realtor. She is catching on.

Upon seeing a hidden Sleeping Beauty doll in the closet, she squealed, "Oh me gosh! Oh me gosh!"

Kate's doll says phrases like, "I love you Mommy" of "Feed me Mommy", but yesterday she kept repeating, "I am tired Mommy" and finally Kate threw her on the floor and said, "Then take a little nap!"

I can't remember what Kate was doing, but I said, "Kate you are a big girl, you don't need to do that." And her reply? "No Mom, I am tiny. Look at my tiny feet."

Kate threw a royal fit about getting in her car seat the other day. Matt was losing his patience, and for some reason I thought it was hilarious! I was laughing so hard. Then Kate looked at me and said, "It's NOT funny Mommy!" Never laughed so hard in my life.

Kate told me she wanted to get the "baby out" the other night. She ran into our bathroom and returned with a toothbrush, lifted up my shirt, and stuck it in my belly button. "I see her arm! I have an idea! I need more tools!" And off she went in search for more tools!

Update on Taylor Life

Short version:
All in all we are happy and healthy. That is all that matters, right?!

Longer version:
What have we been up to? We just took a really fun trip to Utah to be at my new nephew's baby blessing. My entire family (17 people) staid with my brother in his beautiful new home in Salt Lake. It was really cool to all be under the same roof! Kate and her cousins (and us too) were obsessed with all the leaves. Utah really knows how to do Fall. We caught up with friends at Kneader's for their amazing French Toast! We hit up the BYU game, and it felt really good to sing the fight song again with my fellow cougars. Did some essential Utah shopping, and even fit in some Bajio when we weren't all playing "Words with Friends" with each other. Kate said her favorite part of the trip was the airplane! Mine was meeting cute Max. He is sooo cute.
We have also have been going to Disneyland a lot lately since our passes expire this weekend. Kate loooves it there. Ooooobviously.

House news? We are suppose to close very soon on our old place. Probably next week latest. That means, the week after that for our new place. So, sounds like a Thanksgiving move. We are really excited about our move, and can't wait to get our new babies room all set up and ready for her arrival. Kate is getting a new room too. She told me she wants all pink. So, we are on the hunt for some cute decor.

Baby news? I am 32 weeks, and feeling very week of that. This past week I have just felt huge and uncomfortable. But, all the complaints only mean that she is that much close to joining our family. I know understand why people waddle. This second pregnancy has proven to be a very different feeling! Kate keeps stuffing her shirt with her blanket and saying, "Look Mom! I am having a baby!" She is very aware of what is going on, and I have my fingers crossed that the addition goes smoothly! Kate was such an "easy" baby, and I know we were spoiled with her, so we are a little nervous to get a "normal" baby. But, needless to say, we are thrilled about her, and can't wait to meet her.

That about sums us up at the moment. Just waiting...for our move, and for our baby girl!

On Real Living

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.

I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.

I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn.

I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children.

I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.

I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.

I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."
