I have always been a summer girl. No make up, sun kissed noses, watermelon, warm nights, clear skies, sunscreen, popsicles, long days, lazy afternoons, BBQ's, sand, beach towels, s'mores, hot dogs for dinner, etc. I can't get enough of it.
Not that it is cold today, in fact it is 70 right now.... but it just feels like fall is coming. I like a lot of things about other seasons, but I love everything about summer. Let's see..for fall, I am looking forward to: decorating for holidays, chili, sweatshirts, BYU football, snuggling up in blankets, and all of the good shows on.
So here is to you summer...it was a good one!

What more could we ask for?
This weekend was really fun!!! On Thursday we got a new camera, so the weekend was well documented! On Friday night we went out with my cousin and her husband to Selma's on Del Mar Street in San Clemente, it was really tasty!
On Saturday we went to the Boost Mobile Pro Surf Competition. It was so fun! We had to park really far away and walk about 30 minutes (hmm...reminds me of last weekend!) but the walk was not bad. We even did a good deed by stopping at a booth to write a letter to the Coast Commissioner to stop the toll road from ruining Trestles, complete with a Polaroid of us holding a sign that said "Save Trestles"! I was a little camera happy with all the pro surfers around. We found a great spot amongst the thousands of people. We wiggled our way though all the people and sat right in the front and pretty much under the photographers tripods. It was great! Kelly Slater ran right by us. And we took tons of pictures when he was in the water. (When I was a Junior in High School Bree and I went to this same competition and made the 20 minute walk to the cars with Kelly Slater and talking the whole way, and came back the next day and HE came over and talked to us, so I have always had a crush on him. He did not see me this time, cuz I KNOW he would have come over and talked to me. Right.) Of course, he won.
After the competition Matt surfed at the Pier for a little while, before taking me on a date to Cheesecake Factory and to see No Reservations (I loved it!).
So all in all, we had a fun weekend! We are looking forward to a relaxing Sunday!

Oh my blogness!
So, what is ok? I always feel kinda assumptive when I add people to my blogroll...like, what if they see their name on my blogroll and we aren't really on that level. But today when I was reading a blog (that I read quite regularly though other peoples blogs)...I saw my name on their list! So I realized they are only going to know if they do the same thing and creep blogs like everyone else in the blogging world does! Come on people...let's be honest. Why do we have an interest in peoples life that we do not even know? I DON'T KNOW! It is so fun!
Ok, so that is one thing, the other is...where to you make a reply to a comment? Sometimes I ask questions and I just realized I never get answers. But I have seen other people answer a question on their own blog. Should I be checking where I made comment/questions? Oh no..now I am going to be reading post/comments, and then comments again!
I propose that questions be answered on the blog of the person who asked the question. That way you always get your answer.
Give me some feedback...even if I don't know you!
We have etiquette for everything including bathroom spacing... why not blogging?

My cousin Allyson got married last fall in her backyard in Placerville. She wanted her wedding to be under oak trees that we use to play in when we were little! It was very beautiful, in fact, so beautiful, that the magazine, "DESTINATION i do", has her on the cover, and three full pages inside of their wedding. It is also in another wedding magazine this month too!

I wonder why we didn't make it in the mag? Maybe cuz Matt is wearing my cousin's shades!

Rise and shout, the cougars are out!
Yes, we made the journey through the 4 hour traffic, and if that wasn't enough, the 30 minute walk from the car to the stadium. I am not exaggerating. The game was so fun though! It was great to get a little fix of the cougar spirit and BYU pride. I miss being at at BYU, especially during football season. We went with my sister's family and some of their friends, but also had fun running into old friends. We also ran into Matt's grandparents, aunt, uncles, and cousins! So random. We met up with them after the game, and had dinner with them at their hotel, don't worry, we only had to wait an hour and half for our sick food to arrive. What a late night! We struggled to stay awake on the way home, but finally made it at 11:58! Phew....We woke up at 11 this morning, looked at each other and agreed we were happy that on a morning like this, we did not have kids! All the time, money, and traffic we went through to be at the game was worth it when we were singing the fight song..

Meet my boyfriends...
I have been hanging out with Ezra for a while now, just a couple days a week, very causal, while his real girlfriend (and hot mama) works. Then last week she added another one to the mix! Two boyfriends? This might get serious now! How could you not with these two handsome lookers! Meet Ezra who is almost 3, and new baby Dax. Cute name huh?
When Ezra puts on these amazing glasses, he says, "Tweet, tweet." Who is this kid?!
Dax the stud stretching out after a hard days work as a newborn!

Ambien and 911.
9:40 Me and my mom looking at blogs in the guest room/office.
9:41 Enter Dad, sits on side of bed and talking about helping us with some computer issue.
9:42 Dad falls back on the bed and practically falls off. Can't get himself upright.
I come to the rescue and pull him up, let go, and down he goes again. What?! He mumbles something about just taking an Ambien. Oh funny joke Dad.
9:43 Sit him up, and down he goes. Um, not funny anymore. Dad mumbles something about the evil guards. But he is not laughing...ut oh. Mom looks panicked. Now I am.
9:45 Ani, call 911
9:46 Shaking,I call 911. Explain that Dad has MS and had a steroid infusion today. Says he took an Ambein. Breathing but not responding.
9:50 Dad tells me his name is John Forsythe and it is November 16, 2007. He says he feels like little futhy (Fuzzy). Where am I?
9:53 Enter 10 paramedics. Mr. Bewsey, how are you feeling?
Fiiiiine. I feel finnnnne. I am Craig Bewsey and it is Sept. 7th.
WHAT?!?!?!?! I am in the hall explaining to the nice paramedic that he just told me one minute ago that he was in fact John Forsythe. He laughs.
9:54-10:20 They say he needs to go to the hospital, but he thinks he is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine and seems to be actually at this point. Besides not being able to walk and 6 men getting him up the stairs.
They sat him on the bed and went to leave, and Dad stands up to be polite. Crazy man.
10:22 They leave, we put Dad in bed and he says, "Can you bring me an ice cream bar?!"
An ice cream bar?!?1 This man is crazy. He is sleeping peacefully as we speak. I guess s a little case of mixing too many hard hitters. No sweet little Ambien butterflys for Craigers. Need to switch to Lunstra.
Mattie missed the drama!
I took a picture of him relaxing in bed a few minutes ago, will post tomorrow!

My Dad, John Forsthe. Riiight.

We spent so much of our time away from eachother durning dating/engagement, so when we got married we promised we wouldn't go anywhere with out eachother for at least a year! So I guess we made it! But...I am already missing my cute husband. I hope Saturday comes fast! I am sure he is going to be just fine though...private plane...houseboat...and whatever else those guys do for buisness!

Soccer Update
Um....so last night. Since when did I gain 400 pounds and get tired after 2 minutes of running around? There were 22 minutes halves...and the first half, I looked up at the clock and we still had 19 minutes to go, and I almost fainted. Looks like someone needs to lay off the Karmel Suttra for soccer season! Haha! It was fun besides being totally sore this morning, and we did lose, but that is ok. There is always next week. Oh no...

Tonight is our first soccer game! Matt started a team with the guys at work, and some people from our ward/stake. I haven't played soccer in a long time!!!! It should be really fun. They only thing is...there is only one other girl besides me, and we have to play the whole time! I am going to get a good workout! Wish us luck!

We are hoping that our childhood sports skills will still be in there somewhere!

Doozie of a week!
This has been a really fun week to wrap up the summer, my favorite time of year. The long weekend started early for me with a day at the beach in Laguna with my Nana and my cousins visiting from Colorado, Chris and Debbie. On Friday me and my sister and her kids hit up Wild Rivers. I even had my mom do a French braid just like old times. It was sweet, I forgot how awesome french braids are at keeping your hair in place! I felt like I was 12. We staid till closing! We are so sad that next summer is the last season it will be open! We went on Congo River Rapids, Cobra, Lazy River, etc. all the great old rides, nothing has changed there! Saturday Matt and I went to Rivera and he surfed while I read, and then we went out to Danielle and Aaron's for some yummy sushi. Nana came too, and she tried sushi for the first time! We had a little Pinkberry to finish off a great night! Sunday Mattie and I relaxed all day! And today, we went to the pool with the whole family for a day of fun and sun! Went to Ruby's for dinner and after Matt and I strolled down Los Rios street! FUN week!
